With effect from today, the procedure for processing Bills in the Supreme Court Costs Office (SCCO) will fundamentally change in accordance with the 110th update to the Civil Procedure Rules.

The changes reflect the introduction of CE-Filing in the SCCO.

The relevant practice note published by the Senior Costs Judge can be accessed here.

Helpful additional guidance has also been provided by the SCCO which can be found here.

It is noteworthy that following the receipt and acceptance of your electronic Bill the SCCO will issue you with a reference to enable you to send your file of papers to the Court within 5 working days.

We can assist with the entire process or provide guidance to our Clients as to how to use the CE-Filing procedure.
