Costs in the Court of Protection
We are instructed by Deputies & Solicitors to recover fair remuneration in this sensitive and specialist area.
We can prepare your bills and support you in all Court of Protection matters including complex matters which are regularly dealt with. These include bills relating to applications to the Court of Protection for Deputyship and other matters, statutory wills, and annual general management costs.

In addition to bill preparation, we offer a ‘cradle to grave’ service for all matters requiring SCCO assessment, which we find is preferred by most of our clients. The entire process can be conducted in a paperless manner with your file being received via our portal, the electronic bill being prepared and your file being sent to the Court via the HMCTS document upload centre.
The Bill of Costs is prepared and sent to you for approval. Once approved, we proceed to e-file the bill and required attachments. Your file is then sent to the Court upon their request. Once the costs have been assessed, and you have approved the amount allowed, we then proceed to obtain the Final Costs Certificate.
Files can be collected from your home or office by our in-house or external courier. Electronic files can be uploaded to our Portal here.
